Gwen's First Few Days
We enjoyed our hospital stay, but were glad to go home Sunday afternoon. What a happy Easter for our family!
We have been surprised at how often Gwen is calm and alert. She looks all around and turns her head when she hears one of us talking. Right now, we think her eyes are blue, and she has quite a bit of dark hair.
When Gwen gets unwrapped after being swaddled for sleeping, she is warm and her skin is a lovely rosy red color.
Gwen surprised us by spreading her little fingers and then interlocking them like this.

How fun! I'll admit we were scared to come home with Richard! It was so much more fun to sleep in my own bed than the high quality hospital bed.
she's SO pious! (And cute!) That's a great combination! I can't wait to meet her!
omgodness!
she looks like shes praying!
gooness, sorry
nonononono....goodness...sorry again
Doesn't it amaze you how a child can look so much like both parents at the same time? She is beautiful and I love the new pink tone to baby skin, too. You are so blessed!
What a fun way to see Gwen grow and communicate with you. I knew her daddy would find her irresistable-just like her mother. Love you all and can't want to see you. Mom
