Byron and Meredith

 

"How does Byron like the baby?" is a common question since Meredith's birth.  It's hard to tell as their relationship is a bit hot and cold...on Byron's part of course.  He says "baby" (and it is precious).  He is interested in Meredith and often wants to be near her.  He'll give her kisses and pats.  He likes to point out her eyes and mouth and ears.  He gets concerned when she cries.  He can be a bit rough with his affection, but that is not unusual as he is quite physical by nature.  However, sometimes he swipes at her or his pats turn into more of a hit.  On two such occasions, he's left little scratches on her head.  When he's close to the baby, everyone is on guard.  But when he is gentle, it is really sweet.
