Gwen's On A Roll!

As of Friday, June 27th, Gwen reached an important baby milestone: rolling over-back to front! She had been pulling her legs up and rolling onto her side every now and then, but it usually seemed accidental. It was no accident Friday when she rolled onto her side, then kept the momentum going by turning her head and shoulders. Her arm was caught under her, but she wasn't deterred. She gripped the blanket she was laying on with one hand as she just kept wiggling around until the other arm was in a better spot. This took a few minutes, but she didn't get frustrated, she just kept working at it. Her perseverance was quite impressive! Here's a video from this morning...

As you can see, all Gwen wants to do now is roll over! On the floor, on the changing table, in her crib, when we're trying to swaddle her, etc. She doesn't always like the result of being on her stomach, but she can't seem to help herself! We realize zillions of babies have rolled over, but we can't help thinking that Gwen is so amazing!
