Gwen is Three Months Old!

Gwen has adjusted to some BIG changes this month. First and foremost, she has significantly reduced her carbon footprint by making the switch to cloth diapers. You may not think this is a big change, but check out the size of these diapers! Jared now affectionately calls her "Big Diaper". The other significant change was Ashley's return to work three days a week. Gwen stays with a trusted family friend and is well entertained by the friend's two-year-old daughter. Gwen seems to be adjusting just fine, although she has put up quite a fuss when it comes to the bottle. Ashley misses her all day.
Gwen is more expressive than ever!
She seems to have mastered her eyes and doesn't make crossed eyed faces anymore. She always seems to be interested in what dad is doing and will follow him with her eyes around the room. She smiles often, and makes noises in different tones depending on her mood. She'll shriek and coo when she is happy, gabber with a frown on her face in a serious tone when she is tired, and the very saddest is the "mma mma mma" cry when she seems to be trying not to cry. In general, she has a very pleasant disposition.
Along with better eye control has come better hand control. Gwen often puts her hands in her mouth and slobbers all over them. She seems to be getting a hold of her toys more often now and will also bring them to her mouth.
Gwen started to sleep through the night (yippee!) about a week ago and slept for eight hours three out of four nights. But she's a tease because now she's back to the 2am feed (oh well)! But she eats and goes right back to sleep, so no real complaints.
In case you were wondering, Gwen still LOVES her bath!
