Happy Halloween!

It was a dark and stormy night...literally. So rainy, windy, and cold that Gwen's trick-or-treating consisted of going to four houses and then home again. She didn't care a bit! (Below, the first photo is Gwen insisting on bringing her pink bear with her on our Halloween adventure into the storm. The second photo is showing that Gwen looked pretty cute from behind too! And the third photo is Gwen sitting in her chair, enjoying her loot...not by eating it, but by playing with it.)

Slouching Gwen

Yesterday Gwen got a little chair of her own. However, she refuses to sit on it and prefers to slouch in it. She does this in her high chair too (although the slouching is less extreme due to the tray and the fact that she is buckled in).

Happy Easter!

Last year we brought Gwen home from the hospital on Easter Sunday. This year we brought her home from church and she decided to do a puzzle. What a difference a year makes!

Well, I'm kind of busy... counting my toes,

singing to my lotion and singing to my shoes,

tasting my shoe,

pretending my comb is a flutophone,

throwing my shoes and seeing where they land,

doing my push ups...

and my squats,

grabbing the camera to take a few shots,

and, finally, cuddling with my monkey!

Heeheehee... It's past my bedtime, isn't it?

Sitting Pretty

Gwen Sits Herself Up

Gwen has taken matters into her own hands and has decided to sit herself up! Friday night Gwen was rolling around on the floor in her room. Ashley went to the kitchen for a minute to tend to dinner and when she came back Gwen was sitting up! It was pretty exciting! Ashley put Gwen back on her stomach, but she just rolled around and didn't even attempt to sit up again, so Ashley thought it must have been a fluke. However, tonight she did it again...and then again! Gwen is quite amazing! It's always hard to tell if she wants to do something new, or if she just does it accidentally and then likes it so much that she decides to try it again and again until she's developed a new skill. It's probably more of the latter. Check out Gwen's new move below...
